Animals of Costa Rica is the first app of its kind for the country. It contains more than 10,000 pictures of the most common and spectacular species from all major taxonomic groups, including mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and more.
It contains information about the geographical distribution, habitat, and behavior of each species. It also includes a glossary with more than 1,000 species' names, as well as a taxonomy, which allows the user to navigate through the species' ranks.
Each species' information includes the species' name, its common name, its scientific name, its geographical distribution, its habitat, and its behavior.
The app also includes a list of all the species that can be found in the country, as well as a list of the most common ones.
Each species can be found in different parts of the country. Some of them are found in the countryside, while others are found in the rainforest or on the coastline.
